2006 Chevy Colorado Door Locks Not Working

And why do i hear so much about this problem but no real answers.
2006 chevy colorado door locks not working. Check to see if any codes register none found. 2006 chevy colorado four wheel drive automatic 21900 miles i was tightening the positive battery terminal clamp and my wrench accidentally touched a piece of metal and sparked. 2006 chevy colorado installed new battery now power door locks do not work and driver side window. 2006 colorado 4x4 crew cab 52000 miles my power door locks quit working and at the same time the drivers door power wind quit working the other 3 windows work fine.
Symptoms 1 power door locks do not work from door and do not work with key fob. I was having problems with my drivers side window and locks not working on my 2005 chevy colorado. It is a 2002 honda accord 4cyl special edition. Seems to be working good so far.
However when it is hot 104 f like it was today the locks do not respond to any of the switches driver front passenger. Check wiring loom in drivers door it is likely unpluged or it has cut some wires and taken out a fuse. There are several videos online that show you how to remove the interior door panel and replace this lock. Yes the fuses are good.
I tried this 10 step process and it worked so thank you so much for this. Years ago the rear right door lock quit working but that is just extra info. Was working fine before disconnecting battery and from what i can find on the internet i am not the only person with this is problem. 2006 chevy colorado crew cab.
It started after battery was un hooked. Drivers window does not work but the other 3 windows all work. I was getting frustrated since i really do not have the money to replace parts. Since then my automatic door locks won t work either from the door switch or from the remote button.
Pops the lock open and the key slides in nicely. Here is my story.
