2005 Toyota Seinna Side Sliding Door Will Not Operate

2005 toyota seinna side sliding door will not operate. In this situation the best thing to do is to replace the cable. The door open warning comes on and we can t get it to stay closed. It closes then pops back open a bit. The sliding door would work manually pulling the door handle.
