2005 Suburban 2500 Lt Power Staying On After Doors Locked

When i put the truck in gear the cid reads that the left rear door is ajar.

2005 suburban 2500 lt power staying on after doors locked. When i unplugged the wires from the latch and put the truck in gear it still said that the door was ajar. Every once in a while the engine will stay running along with all the other rap features. Doors will unlock and lock on their own while driving. If this wasn t the issue move on to step 2.

I drove it on a trip got to my destination shut off the ignition got out of the truck and locked the doors. I have a 2005 chevy silverado lt 2500 4 door. I have a 99 chevy suburban 1500. 99 chevy suburban 1500.

When i turn the truck off all power is gone and truck will not start. 2005 5 583 posts 4. Rpm and mph gauges will turn off an on. If its not that then im not sure. Do your lights stay on after closing the door from time to time.

Radio will make a pop sound when brake is hit. Radio designed to stay on for a set amount of time some car radios are on a timer so they are designed to not shut off immediately. Press the lock side of the power lock switch once. Service stabilitrak and traction control warnings will come on.

Check if the radio has turned off a few minutes after the doors have been shut and locked. After removing the door trim and changing the lock actuator motor it s still did not work. Ago 05 2500 hd. Check to make sure that all doors are closed completely as a door that s open just a slight amount can trigger this light.
