2000 Ford F150 Door Locks Not Working

This happens with both doors and both buttons.

I did the repair on my 2000 f150 door locks. Scott i have not read this one yet. However you can still set off the alarm while attempting to open the power door locks.

Specifically when i press the button to unlock or lock the doors the locks don t respond either way. My power locks work but will not move to actually lock unlock the doors. This allows you to lock and unlock your vehicle doors without actually inserting the key into the door handle. I can hear the locks working with both the remote and the door switches.

I have a 2000 f 150 and the power locks are not working properly. Now my locks work like they are on sterroids. This is happening on a 1999 ford f150. What could be the likely solutuion.

Most ford vehicles now come standard with a keyless entry remote control. But i did find it easyer for me to remove the complete lock assy. The only problem is while the passenger door works fine the drivers door works opposite. George in mayflower ar.
