02 Passat Will Lock Doors But Not Unlocking

I would have to use the remote or driver s door buttons to unlock the rear door.

02 passat will lock doors but not unlocking. Locks work from the switch but not the remote. Ok everyone sort of a new issue. L r door lock acting up on my 05 passat. The battery is likely dead and needs to be replaced but the remote s may also need to be reprogrammed to work.

C locking was working but ds rear door not locking are unlocking then drivers door and ps rear doors jamed not to read more. 2 days later installed panel. My 2004 vw passat has an issue where the nearside rear door will not always open when the corresponding button is pressed on the car key. Door will not open.

So i went into the mfd and changed the default from unlocking only the driver s door to unlocking all the doors. The door lock works in only one direction. Not really logical but thought worth the try. If this happens the problem is with the remote.
